Mr. Tyler joined Sauchik & Giyaur, P.C. in 2023. Lachlan’s practice is focused on commercial litigation and representation of healthcare providers in complex disputes and transactional matters.

Before moving to New York City, Lachlan Tyler practiced commercial litigation for three years in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia.  During his time in Sydney, Lachlan worked at Marque Lawyers, a highly regarded boutique litigation and commercial law firm. Lachlan successfully litigated cases in the Supreme Court of Victoria, the Supreme Court of New South Wales, and the Federal Court of Australia in Sydney.  In Australia, Lachlan acted on behalf of a privately held financial services company to compel the transfer of ~$700 million AUD in managed funds, represented multinational firms in multimillion dollar disputes with the Government of New South Wales, and obtained urgent injunctive relief for multiple commercial clients.

Lachlan graduated with his Juris Doctor from Melbourne Law School at The University of Melbourne (2017). He is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria (2018), the High Court of Australia (2021), and is entitled to practice in all Australian federal courts.

Prior to Melbourne Law School, Lachlan attended The American University in Cairo where he graduated magna cum laude with B.A.’s in Middle East Studies and History (2014). During his time in Cairo, Lachlan assisted in the Transitional Justice Project, and witnessed the first democratic presidential election in Egyptian history and subsequent military crackdown.
