Mr. Pahz joined Sauchik & Giyaur, P.C. as an intern after completing his first year at Brooklyn Law School in 2021. Now a 2023 graduate, Aaron is taking the skills he developed working directly under Mr. Sauchik and Ms. Giyaur and transitioning into his role as an Associate.

During his internship, Aaron’s responsibilities spanned a diverse spectrum of legal matters, encompassing transactional intricacies, administrative challenges, and complex commercial litigation. His prowess in organization and strategy enabled him to swiftly pinpoint problem areas and devise effective solutions, particularly within the everchanging landscape of healthcare organizations. Aaron’s empathetic and approachable demeanor has made him a reliable and unwavering resource for clients in all situations.

Aaron’s tenure at Brooklyn Law School was characterized by his dual commitment to academia and professional growth. Simultaneously, he was actively contributing to the firm’s success while being an engaged member of the Health Law and Policy Association (HLPA) at his school.

One of his proudest achievements during this time was representing his institution at the 2023 Health Law Regulatory & Compliance Competition hosted by the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. Collaborating with a select team of legal scholars, he adeptly analyzed complex fact patterns concerning state and federal fee-splitting, anti-kickback, and self-referral laws, as well as HIPAA regulations and other agency mandates. Outside the classroom, Aaron was a dedicated debate coach for the Motivating Youth Through Legal Education (MYLE) program. He mentored underprivileged youths in New York City, utilizing legal and educational initiatives to foster vision, develop skills, and boost their self-confidence, empowering them to aspire to reach great heights.

Before embarking on his legal career, Aaron pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at The University of Alabama, where he graduated cum laude from the Honors College in 2020. During his undergraduate years, he held leadership roles within his Greek Organization and facilitated enduring connections between campus Greek Organizations and the philanthropic Relay for Life. Beyond academics and philanthropy, Aaron is an avid fan of college football, never missing a University of Alabama home game, and reveling in witnessing the Crimson Tide’s triumph in securing two national championships during his time there.

Aaron has successfully sat for the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam and New York Law Exam, and he recently completed the July Uniform Bar Exam. He anticipates that he will be admitted to the New York State Bar as early as 2024.
